The primary purpose of the Matrix Ethics Channel is to promote a culture of transparency and to protect individuals who report or disclose the commission of violations or offences, in compliance with Spanish Law 2/2023.
Through the Whistleblowing Channel, whistleblowers (who are not necessarily employees) can report any infringement or irregularity in a work or professional context.
To ensure the confidentiality of the whistleblower’s identity, reports can be made completely anonymously. The application removes metadata to maintain anonymity.

Once a report is received, an acknowledgment of receipt must be sent to the whistleblower within seven calendar days of receiving the report.
Through communication with the whistleblower, the right of the affected person to be informed about the actions or omissions attributed to them will be guaranteed, and they may be heard at any time.
The case manager will have a maximum period of three months to provide a response regarding the investigative actions taken.
