28/11/2025

On Wednesday 26 November, at the Masia Can Magí in Sant Cugat del Vallès, Matrix was recognised with an award as part of the 24th edition of the MC MUTUAL “Antonio Baró” Awards for Occupational Risk Prevention. These awards are presented annually to companies and institutions that have demonstrated a strong commitment to health and safety at work.
The award ceremony, attended by nearly 200 people, included representatives from the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration, the Government of Catalonia, business associations and professional colleges.

This recognition highlighted Matrix’s track record in implementing best practices in occupational risk prevention, as well as its efforts to maintain an almost zero accident rate. The company has consolidated a prevention culture based on continuous training, investment in safe equipment and procedures, and the active involvement of the entire workforce.

Jesús Ramos, Head of Quality, Environment and Prevention at Matrix, stated during the event:
“Achieving virtually zero accidents is not a coincidence; it stems from shared commitment and individual responsibility. Everyone at Matrix knows the risks and how to act to prevent them. That makes the difference.”

MC MUTUAL, the organisation behind the award, is a Social Security mutual insurance collaborator that promotes occupational risk prevention, health, and quality of life at work through support actions for companies and professionals.

The award reinforced Matrix’s commitment to the continuous improvement of workplace safety and employee well-being.
