Quality Laboratory focused on micron precision

At Matrix, precision and a micron-level focus are fundamental to ensuring the quality and reliability of every injection mould we produce.

We have a highly equipped quality laboratory, where we validate that all metal parts and components of the mould meet the CAD design specifications, ensuring a precise spotting of the entire mechanical system.

Additionally, our metrologists analyse the dimensions of the final plastic parts produced during the various mould tests. All data collected during measurements is compiled into a comprehensive report delivered to our clients along with the injected parts.

Technology and Equipment

Our laboratory features a wide range of measurement and verification equipment, including:

  • Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM): For precise measurement of complex components in three dimensions.
  • Multisensory Optical and Tactile Systems: These systems combine the precision of tactile contact with the speed of optical measurement, simplifying and speeding up the measurement of even the most complex parts.

Traceability and Quality Control

We implement controls throughout the manufacturing process to detect dimensional deviations and correct them proactively. This allows us to ensure total consistency in the verification of each project. With these actions, we not only guarantee compliance with the engineering specifications of the injection mould but also contribute to:

  • Reducing mould validation and qualification time.
  • Minimising errors during production.
  • Perfect adjustment of the mould during the spotting phase.
